July 2008Red White and Blue Sale

Red White & Blue Sale
Free CD-ROM of To Deep or Not To Deep Water Workout with any purchase (excluding downloads).
This workout was designed after someone requested information about water exercises which could be performed in the shallow or deep end of the pool- either, or, and simultaneously (for classes). The following high energy workout is the result.

An hour long workout with 70 exercises, including warm - up; active head-to -toe cardio exercises; and cool down segments. Additional equipment like barbells, gloves or noodles are not required, but will add intensity to your workout. If you are performing in the deep end, a flotation belt is strongly recommended. A doctor's guidance is advised before you start an exercise program. Exercises are delivered as Adobe® Portable Document (PDF) Files. They require that you have the Adobe® Acrobat® Reader to view and/or print them.  Sale ends July 11, 2008.

Neptune Notes
Ever wonder what those sticky labels are on the fruit and veggies you buy? The labels signify the following:

A 4-digit number means the item was conventionally grown.
A 5-digit number beginning with a "9" means it was organically grown.
A 5-digit number beginning with an "8" means it was genetically modified.

Exercise Routine from Cheryl Jarvis of Mountain Home, Arkansas
May We Go Round
Choose four of your favorite ‘Active Head to Toe Exercises’ such as Cowboy Kick, Jack and Jig, Ski Boxing, and Rocking Horse. Have your class start with one of your four chosen exercises. After a few moments (you decide the time amount), call out "May We Go Round". The group will perform a 360 Bunny Hop circle turn and then will start on the second of your chosen exercises. After a few moments you call out ‘May We Go Round" and your clients will move into a 360' Bunny Hop circle turn and then will start on the third of your chosen exercises. After a few moments you call out ‘May We Go Round" and your clients will move into a 360' Bunny Hop circle turn and then will start on the fourth of your chosen exercises. The complete round of four exercises will end with another 360 Bunny Hop circle turn. There are any number of varieties you can do such as....start your rounds slowly and speed up with the progression. ...alternate the direction of your turns...add a ‘Simon says’ aspect for the turns...perform the routine to music and execute the turns when the music is turned off and so forth. This routine gives a good workout for both the body and the spirit because the laughter will be coming. Have fun!  Thanks Cheryl!
