Vacation Time
In late August, we will be on a Fun-Fitness Cruise to Alaska, teaching water aerobics classes and enjoying the stunning scenery. For those of you not cruising with us, now is a good time to order your own vacation workout CD-ROMs.

For example, our Power Six Pack CD-ROM includes 6 outstanding workouts for only $59.99 :
Aqua Body Boot Camp Water Workout
Noodle Water Workout
Interchangeable Aqua Body Sculpt and Shape Water Workout
Interchangeable Rock Bottom Water Workout
Interchangeable Total Cardio Water Workout
Variety Water Workout
We look forward to seeing some of you during the Alaska cruise, and to those who have not made plans to join us: "Don't miss the boat in 2008".  I am considering hosting the Fun & Fitness Cruise to New England & Canada, in September 2008, and Barb will be hosting that one, along with February 2008 Western Caribbean, and Alaska again late summer 2008.
If you are a certified aqua instructor interested in teaching your folks aboard ship every morning, call Barb at 800 500 8905. If you are a class participant, urge your instructor to call. If you don't have an instructor, email Carla at Carla@WaterWellnessWorkouts.com or Barb at barbatson@earthlink.net. We would love to say WELCOME ABOARD to you in 2008!

Expert Answer
Q: Do you have a Water Aerobics heart rate chart? I am thinking of age versus what your heart rate should be after cardio workout. Thank you, Karen Doran.

A: You can find one like that at Stretching.com. Thanks for asking, Carla.

Exercise Routine
Exercise Routine from Angela Baggett of Abilene Texas. She teaches a prenatal aerobic class and is starting an MHMR class.
Some of the exercises say to pause while sitting (like split step front to back). Have students share something during the pause like a favorite food, color, memory, how many siblings/grandchildren/children they have... (Great way to learn new things about your students!)
We have had this one before, but it won't hurt to have a reminder:
Have everyone in the class in a circle facing each other. Sing and do the actions to the "hokey-pokey" song. (Put your left foot in, put your left foot out, put your left foot in and turn it all about, do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around, that's what it's all about).   Thanks Angela!
